Brain tumor surgery left Dr. Ricky Gray with speech and memory problems, and the Flowood Baptist Church pastor feared he might never preach again.
But after extensive therapy at Methodist Rehab, Gray returned to the pulpit just two months later. Now, he’s on a mission to give others hope for a full recovery.
“An old saying goes, ‘There’s always hope for help so long as there is God.’ When I arrived at Methodist Rehab, I needed ‘that hope for help’ like never before,” Gray said. “Thankfully, they had on hand the talented and well-trained folks needed to assist me and help me through a very difficult time. I will be forever grateful to them for all they did for me. They, along with the good Lord, afforded me an opportunity to do what I like most—preach!”
